In his current role as executive vice president, Brian L. Davis is responsible for managing all of PDI’s practice areas and products. Brian is uniquely suited to this role. Since he joined PDI in 1982, he has managed every practice area, started PDI’s consulting products business, and managed and started up new PDI operating offices.
Before joining PDI, Brian was an internal consultant for Control Data, responsible for the management of an internal research unit that assessed talent, and the management and evaluation of outside consultants. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of Talent Management and recently completed a world tour presenting leading-edge insights to human resource professionals on four continents. Brian has published articles in professional and trade journals and frequently presents to the Academy of Management and the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology. His most recognized work is PDI’s Successful Manager’s Handbook, which has sold over one million copies.
